Has your relationship with God grown stale? Has it lost its spark? Are you plagued by a particular sin? Something you can’t shake? Are you just tired from the day-to-day grind of your life? These all show that God wants to give you more. And this Lent can be when God gives it to you. Join us on Thursday evenings as we share faith and community during the Lenten season.

Fr. Mark Toups, an experienced spiritual director, leads readers inward to invite the Lord to heal those areas where they need it most. He follows the same format that tens of thousands enjoyed in Advent with his popular Rejoice! journals. Readers will receive daily guidance as well as supplemental videos, to help enter more deeply into Lent and remain focused throughout the season.

The Ascension Lenten Companion Journal is 108 pages long, featuring daily entries, each offering a word, a scripture passage, a short meditation, and a prayer prompt to guide you to deeper intimacy with God.

Dates: Thursdays in Lent starting February 23 - April 6

Time: 7:00 - 8:00pm (except on April 6, Holy Thursday which will be from 5:30 - 6:30pm in order to attend the Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7pm)

Location: SCS Rectory (enter through the front door on Metairie Road. Parking is available near the Melancon / Adoration Parking Lot)
